The Safest Mastercard — Concept Design

This pandemic has revealed to us how exposed we are to potential contagions through the elements we use and touch on a daily basis. But there’s one in which WHO raised the alert: cash. Cash and transactions on POS machines are a dangerous contact point to potential viruses and bacteria through our hands. But there is a key material, that is found in large quantities in Chile, that has been scientifically credited as a natural inhibitor of bacteria growth, microbes and viruses on surfaces, and is considered as essential to human life and to prevent diseases in public spaces: COPPER. We created and designed the first credit and debit card coated in nanoparticles of copper and made entirely out of this material. It reduces the life of microbes that pass through the card, making it the safest and cleanest way to pay and make transactions. This way, you can go shopping for groceries or anything else with one less preoccupation and with the security of knowing that when it’s time to pay, you will be making the safest payment possible. *This idea is a concept design. Pero hay uno en el que la OMS alertó: el efectivo. El efectivo y las transacciones en las máquinas POS son un punto de contacto peligroso para posibles virus y bacterias a través de nuestras manos. Pero hay un material clave, que se encuentra en grandes cantidades en Chile, que ha sido científicamente acreditado como inhibidor natural del crecimiento de bacterias, microbios y virus en superficies, y es considerado esencial para la vida humana y para prevenir enfermedades en espacios públicos. : COBRE. Creamos y diseñamos la primera tarjeta de crédito y débito recubierta de nanopartículas de cobre y fabricada íntegramente con este material. Reduce la vida de los microbios que pasan a través de la tarjeta, convirtiéndola en la forma más segura y limpia de pagar y realizar transacciones. De esta manera, puede ir a comprar comestibles o cualquier otra cosa con una preocupación menos y con la seguridad de saber que cuando llegue el momento de pagar, estará haciendo el pago más seguro posible. *Esta idea es un concepto de diseño.
